The concept of health insurance

Health insurance, as a way to protect the state of patients' rights to adequate care and protection of their health, has its roots back centuries. Health Insurance: Pros and Cons

Mandatory health insurance has a number of positive points for citizens, such as:

- Access to health care, not only in the place of permanent residence;
- Working citizens are deeply committed to a policy of compulsory health insurance with the signing of the employment contract with them. And it's not just words, but a legal norm, guaranteed by the Government, which had been implemented, governments, community organizations, local government, worker councils enterprises.

The disadvantage of mandatory health insurance is that it covers not all types of therapeutic and preventive medical services as may be required by a citizen.

Voluntary health insurance also has its advantages. One of the most enjoyable of them - this is freedom of choice. The policyholder is self-insurance program and select medical institutions of the proposals. The insurer advises him on all issues, but the last word in the selection is the same for all insured.

An important nuance can be considered and time savings afforded by medical insurance. There is no need to look for a decent health facility or pushing in line at the door doctor's office. Open door policy holders the highest rated health clinics included in a specific insurance program.

Voluntary health insurance and involves substantial monetary savings: the policy holder is appointed by unnecessary treatment and will not pull out of him more money. Policyholder has paid the insurance policy for the duration of its action, immune from increasing tariffs for medical services.

Another positive point is the quality of service, with voluntary health insurance, which is continuously supervised by the company's experts, the insurer. If contentious issues do arise - the insurance company is always on guard of your interests.
